Today vodafone stopped my outgoing services and while speaking to the customer care executive I came to know that it is Vodafone’s new validity term. You need to recharge Rs35 minimum to get your services to be continued (even though I had Rs45 existing in my prepaid balance). This is just #loot as their plans of Rs35 and so are charging more call rates (rs 0.025/sec) and if you select special rate cutter plan that have less call tariff (rs 0.010/sec). While our #government is boasting towards giving connectivity to each and everyone, also stating that calling services are improving day by day, these acts are very disappointing. Because now a days in a family of 4-5 persons mostly all have mobile phones and thus using services of calling/SMS/INTERNET if a company plans to charge Rs35/28 days, a country with 100 Billion phone users will be paying a huge amount of money WITHOUT UTILIZING THE SERVICES OF AMOUNT PAID. So, these are just public harassing tactics which mostly used by companies to earn money by providing less amount of services. The government and specially TRAI should take necessary and important quick actions for stabilizing services and providing them more economically, as it is becoming a kind of basic need to stay connected with people.
