Vodafone provides a plan called “Mobile Shield : Smartphone Protection” under which my phone is covered for damages. I had taken the claim on 25th Oct 2019 as the screen of my phone broke. They asked me to get the phone repaired from an Authorized Service Center near my location and pay for the damage. In this case, my phone screen had broken and I paid INR 9413 to get the screen replaced. As per their terms and conditions, they approved INR 8472 to be refunded back to me. Sir, I submitted all my claim related documents multiple time on their website as they wrongly kept saying the documents are incorrect. I even couriered all the original documents 3 times to the address provided to me : Shotformats Digital Productions Pvt Ltd 406/407, A Wing, Express Zone, Western Express Highway, Malad (East), Mumbai 400097 This is the 3rd party agency which handles their Mobile Shield division. It is impossible to call them we have to wait 30 – 40 mins on the phone and sometimes their phone numbers are not working (022-28717171 & 022-62456666). After rigorous follow-ups and multiple calls, finally my claim was approved on 14-01-2020 (after 2 months) and the documents were sent to the insurer (New India Assurance Company) on 25-01-2020. Sir, since then I have not received any communication on when will I get the refund of the amount I paid to replace the screen of my phone (INR 8472). On the phone they had promised me 15 days but now it has been 4 months. I really need your help in this as their phone numbers are not operational anymore and I have nobody to contact to. When I call vodafone customer care, they ask me to call on these numbers (022-28717171 & 022-62456666) which belong to “Shotformats Digital Productions Pvt Ltd” and they are not operational. I have sent them multiple emails on vfclaims@dsspro.in, but there is no reply from their end.

With VFDSS it won’t happen, I have send my mobile to them by last December 2019. Have shared all required documents, still the claim is not approved from their side.
Now I have send a mail withdraw my claim and send my mobile phone back, again no response.
No I have not yet received the money, They keep saying it will be done this month. They are saying most cases piled up because of corona, However I saw some other complaints and checked there status to be successfully closed on shotformats IVR so raised a complaint. Lets see
