I have been using Vodafone sim card for several years. From last many days, I am getting messages from Vodafone that outgoing services for my number(9040861106) will be stopped from 29/11/2018 unless I recharge with their unlimited pack, irrespective of my current balance Rs 195.
How can they force to subscribe to a particular recharge pack? This is a violation of my right to choose as a consumer. I have been using this number for many services and hence forced cancellation will be a great inconvenience to me.

The struggle is real. This is the literally the dumbest move by Vodafone where the competition for “BANG FOR YOUR BUCK” is strong. At first, it took me a while to understand the cause when my outgoing calls were restricted even when i have considerable amount in my main balance. And when i tried calling the customer care about it the waiting period was 62 minutes. Talk about customer care experience and eventually i hung up after waiting for 2 minutes. Guess who can’t handle competition? Di*k move Vodafone!
Vodafone is totally justified in ensuring that users recharge with minimum some amount every month. Why they should give us free incoming calls.
