During one of my recent international travels to the USA, via London, I activated a International Roaming Pack of Vodafone (i-RoamFree). The pack offers free incoming calls, free outgoing calls to India, Outgoing SMS free, Mobile data free and unlimited. They charge Rs. 3999/- + Taxes for 10 days of usage. I got this pack activated from 1st Feb to 10th Feb. During my entire stay in the US, data never worked for me although calls worked fine. I have called up their call center from US everyday for the first 3 days and reported the problem. Unfortunately for me the data never worked for my entire stay in USA.
On my return back to India, I again called them and complained about the same. Their response was that, since now I am back to India, there is nothing they can do now. They were not even apologetic nor empathetic. I mentioned that I have paid a huge sum of money for the same. Their response was that, they would consider about the same once the billing cycle has reached. Now that my billing cycle has reached I see that they have charged the entire amount in my bill.. When contacted they say that their services are accurate and they cannot do anything about this.
I have been a Vodafone customer for 15+ years now… They just cant take me for a ride like this and cheat us anymore. I need action to be taken against them as soon as possible, and let them know the importance of long term and loyal customers!
