I have requested Vodafone to port out my existing number as I want to switch to Airtel. All necessary documents were submitted and I was informed by both Airtel and Vodafone that request is accepted and processed. 2 days before the date of porting, I received a sms from Airtel that they got cancellation request on my behalf and therefore porting request is cancelled. I received an sms from ‘Vodafone MNP’ that they have submitted cancellation request to Airtel on my behalf but I never made any call/sms asking for cancellation. Now I am continuously following up with Vodafone and Airtel to understand who cancelled request on my behalf but both denied and said they have no information. Vodafone is showing my request in open state and Airtels hows as cancelled and both have no connection at this point. Now, I am asking Vodafone to cancel my porting request so that fresh request can be raised but they are denying saying it cannot be done. Vodafone is not closing my porting request and Airtel is not accepting so what should I do now as a user.
Pls see my compliant since as a user I feel cheated by Vodafone.
