Text of Complaint by Pareshkumar Jani:

My Vodafone number is 9825067411 which is being used by since about more than 15 years. I had availed of ‘Life Time Free’ service on this number by paying a sum of around Rs. 900/- long time ago. Since last few days I started receiving SMS that outgoing call service will stop by 15th December, 2018 unless I get it recharged and further stating that Service validity is over on my number. In order to continue availing hassle free services as I used to get small recharges done every six month, I through On-line shopping on Vodafone web-site recharged my number with Recharge amount of Rs. 10 (Rupees Ten) on 14th December, 2018. Accordingly, my balance increased from Rs. 127/- to about Rs. 135/-. However, the validity of this recharge was for one day only and again I started receiving SMS that Outgoing will stop. Now Vodafone has stopped my Outgoing call facility despite following reasons:

(1) My plan is of ‘LIFETIME FREE SERVICE’ offered to me by Vodafone for which I had paid the consideration of Rs. 900/- at relevant point of time.

(2) Balance available in my account is adequate being around Rs. 135/-

My Complaint therefore is that Vodafone has breached its obligation of providing me “LIFETIME FREE SERVICE” by stopping my outgoing calls without any fault or any reason whatsoever on my part. My LIFETIME FREE SERVICE should therefore be immediately resumed.
