Last week, I sent a portability request from Vi to Airtel due to no network in my area, call droppings, etc.
After I have made the portability request in less than one hour I have got a call from a person from this 7022880771 stating he is from Airtel and told me to cancel my portability request as I have 2 outstanding requests and when I asked how it’s possible as we won’t be allowed to raise a new request when one is active! then it’s due to a network issue and he made me cancel by sending the cancel message to 1901.
After 4 days when my connection didn’t get canceled then I reached out to the Airtel representative then he told me my request is canceled, then I came to know the truth, asper Airtel representative this is the usual process nowadays conducted by Vi.
Today I have raised another request to port then again less than one hour I got a call from one lady from the number 7003227607 saying the same reason that I have raised 2 request due to network issues and requested me to cancel again when I asked are you from Airtel she told “yes” and when I told her I’m going to record this call then she disconnected the call and later number becomes not reachable.
I’m not other service providers Such as Airtel or Jio or anyone is aware of such things are happening in their names!

Same thing happened with me on 20th Aug 2021 as well. I was trying to port from Vi to Jio, and I got a call from this number 7003227607. She said she is from jio and informed me for some obvious reason system created 2 Port requests and I need to cancel one request. So she asked me to send a CANCEL request for canceling one. As truecaller showing this number as spam, I asked her to call me after some time, and meantime I googled this number. And I found many people complaining about this number as a Vi fraudster. Vi must be penalized.
