Hi Mr Balesh,
I have 2 numbers in Vodafone ( 9611316386, 9611316351). I have been using these numbers for last 4+ years and was pretty satisfied with the services. Even after different companies which tried to lure us with various offers, we stuck to Vodafone.
Now from last 2 months, we have been going through a horrible experience with nobody ready to give a solution. I got a bill of Rs 5937 generated on 5th Oct and I got a shock of my life. I called customer care and even wrote an email regarding this shock. I was told that this is due to download from Google play services( the download which they said has never being done by me). I had a long conversation and the people at customer care was adamant that these are valid charges and I have to pay the same. I even wrote an email and got the same disappointing answer.
Somehow , I drank the poison and paid Rs 5937 on 2nd Nov. The phone services was immediately started. But again the services was stopped on 3rd Nov. Post that I have been calling to customer care and I only get on response – SIR , THERE IS TECHNICAL PROBLEM AND SERVICES WILL BE ACTIVATED IN 30 MIN. I even visited the Vodafone shop in Electronic city in Bangalore. I met Balakrishnan(9739444658) , who checked the entire account and said sir, there is no outstanding due in your account. After that he again called and said, please make payment of Rs 10 to restart the account. I made a payment of Rs 50 on 5th Nov. Even after that services are not started.
on 6th Nov I again called customer care and to my bigger shock, they said that your credit limit is less and bill amount is 9000Rs which is again happened due to google download. I have not used this phone from 2nd nov to 6th nov. and the download happened again.
i have been writing emails to vodafone karnataka but the person there MAHESH is not able to give any solution. i have checked both my numbers. neither there is any subscription which is there nor i have downloaded any app on both the phones. i have got this checked at vodafone shop also.
I am being penalized for continuing with Vodafone and have no solution.
