Today I went to port my sim from Vodafone to Jio. On the same day, I got a call from a number(9874457309). The man said that he was calling from Jio Store (fake statement). He said to cancel the Vodafone sim, you have to send a message by typing CANCEL on 1900. He told lie that he was from Jio store. After that he falsely told me that jio will be activated in two days. After some time, I received the message that the Port request has been cancelled.
After getting suspicion I called to jio customer care and knew about this fake process from Vodafone.
If that man is not from Vodafone then how he knew my Vodafone number which was to be ported?
