I wanted to bring something to your notice which has completely pissed me off. I have been using the number 9953200100 for the past 9 years and kept it active while I was studying in the US. Somehow missed the payment for 2 months and the number got deactivated. Paid all the dues as soon as possible hoping it will be activated. I was told by the customer service people It will not be a problem. What really happened was that the greedy folks at Vodafone transferred my number to the premium category and are asking Rs 50,000 to get the number again. So you are extorting me to buy my own number back? How ridiculous is this? Limit of greedy be hour. I understand telcos are struggling and you need to increase revenue but this is unacceptable. I am going to file a case with the consumer court soon. I want my number back. Resolve this as soon as possible. You can cross check my details.
