Text of Complaint by Anand Teltumbde:

I wanted to switch my post-paid to pre-paid service. Vodafone wanted me to go to Vodafone Store at Panjim, which is 50 km away from my residence.

I took a taxi for Rs 2000 and visited the store on 16 March. The agent took Rs 610 and gave me a new sim and assured that within 48 hours the switch would happen. By the time I reached home, I received a message that my request was rejected.

Someone from Vodafone phoned me to say that the procedure was changed and I may have to go to the Store again to give my biometrics.

I went again on 28 March incurring Rs 2000 again. At Vodafone the lady again asked me to pay Rs 630 which I paid.

She took my biometrics and assured that the switch would happen within 48 hours. As I reached home again received a message saying my request was rejected.

I suffered the loss of Rs 4000, loss of time and mental harassment for the ineptitude of Vodafone. I wanted to Port my number to Jio and did not see any problem because I did not have any outstanding. But Vodafone has not done it so far.

I would like the company to compensate me for the Loss of Rs 4000 and effect the switch orĀ  Porting immediately.
