Hi, This is Dhruv Khaitan and i have been using postpaid services by Vodafone for more than 10 years (9819962513).
I recently went to Bhutan for a holiday and i received a text message from Vodafone that my billing amount has reached Rs. 220000 approx (due to usage of 2G International roaming data).
I have the following issues with Vodafone billing me this amount –
1) I was not aware that was using these services, not aware of these charges and had not even subscribed to these services.
2) Vodafone did not notify me that i was using these services nor did they notify me about the charges.
I have been chasing them for more than 3 months now and its been the worst experience ever. Spoken to more than 30 different executives and had to re-explain myself to each and every one of them.
On email – They offered a waiver and i put in another offer and said that i will not accept anything below that amount. Such is the sad state of affairs of their english that on seeing the word accept and offer in my email they thought i have accepted the offer made by them.
In addition there has not been a single response to my query when i ask them how can they charge me if they did not notify me.
