I have been using a Tata Docomo Prepaid Sim Card having number 8089283748 from 2015 to 2018. Nearly 1 year ago, I got a call from Vodafone customer executive. They told me that “Tata Docomo will be shutdown soon and all of their services will be stopped, Vodafone has a new offer for me to PORT my Docomo number to Vodafone with out any charges and also providing All India Free Calls and 2GB Unlimited Internet”. So I think to PORT to it and started using the Sim after it’s arrival. Then after 1 month I got a call from the Vodafone Customer Care and told me that “Your 1st month bill is ready and its cost Rs 1700. Then I asked for the Billing Details”. They told “the bill amount is about the internet usage and my internet plan is 2GB unlimited for 1 month.” They don’t tell me at the first time about this duration (2GB/month). Then i called back and told “why don’t you people tell me at the first time that this internet plan is for only 2GB per month not for per day ? why you people cheating your customers like this ? Other companies are providing daily 2 GB per month plans under Rs 200 and why should I use your service. I will not pay the bill and I don’t want your services anymore. I want that sim to be ported back”. Then they told “the sim can’t be ported to another services unless I pay the bill.” Then I told “I will complaint this on the Consumer Court.” Then they told “we will discuss and will be contact me with in 2 working days” and cut the call. After 1 day they called again and told ” Sir we will reduce your bill amount to nearly Rs 800. I replied “why I should pay it. You people told me all services are free and after 1 month you send the bill with amount of Rs 1700. I will not pay the bill. It’s my strict decision.” Then I removed that sim. There after i got too many calls to my alternate Airtel number (9567466533) from Vodafone advocates about the bill. I don’t reply to such calls because I done it too many times the same. Then I got a job in GCC. I charged the Airtel number and keep it active on another phone in my home. Because I want that Airtel number for use it when I came back. After 9 months I returned back from GCC. Then I recharged my Airtel number and used it. Then again they (Vodafone) making calls anonymously. I tired of blocking such calls again and again. What should I do?
