Text of Complaint by Anwaar ahmed motiwala:

1) I had purchased new no frm vodafone in May 2019 & i got free amazon prime subscription with it for 1 year.

2) my billing date is 4th of every month & on 9th may 2020 without my consent vodafone renewed my amazon subscription without my consent.

3) I only came to know abt it on 4th june when my bill was generated so i called but bcoz of lockdown there was no advisor on IVR menu so i again called in july when lockdown was relaxed.

4) now in the mnth of july i spoke to an advisor she said she will raise a complaint & will reverse

5) i called again they informed me 60 days have passed for the charges now it can not be reversed

6) i informed them when my bill only generates on 4th of every mnth & the charge was applied on 9th may 2020 so how will i know before bill is generated as bill will generate on 4th june 2020 so how can they calculate 60 days from 4th may 2020?

7) before renewing the subscription they did not take my consent neither informed through call, msg or email & renewed… & when i contacted them in june them they were not available bcoz of the pandemic.

8) even when i called on 13 july 2020 60 days had not crossed as my bill generates on 4th june 2020 so i came to know about the charges on 4th June so from 4th june 60 days will complete on 4th august 2020

9) one of their advisor named sourab had called me for bill payment & after explaining him everything he informed me that i do not have to pay as my consent was not taken & i had not replied with a yes to renew my subscription.. I have a call recording of that as well.

9) i have paid all bills except for the disputed 847 so they barred my incoming & outgoing so i asked them when i didnt make payment u barred my calls so y didnt u barr my subscription when i did not give my consent.

Vodafone is continuously harassing & torturing me & have disconnected my calls & now my work is getting affected bcoz of it.

Request you to please help me get the charges of 847 reversed & reconnect my no
