My name is Anil Kumar and i have been a customer with vodafone from 2004
my complete family uses Vodafone and we have been very very loyal customers till now ….
Issue: Activation of REDX plan without customer consent
on april 3rd 2020 Vodafone has activated RedX plan on my mothers phone, neither me nor my mother has requested this change of plan … as per vodafone the customer has to share a OTP to convert to the plan, we have not done any activity of this sort
when i reached to the customer care Physically and over calls, they ket giving me this information that we have activated it, i have asked them if you are saying that i have requested this change of plan, please share the proof
we have got couple of calls from vodafone trying to convince us that we have requested the change of plan, when i have asked them for proof they dont share any poof what so ever
i told them that i can submit my Phone to their forensic team and they can check if we have triggered the request from my side and also asked them to share their audit files on the this issue
i did tell them if they prove that i have raised the request i will gladly continue, if not they will have to change it to the previous plan effective 3rd April…
the team is now asking me INR 3000/- to change the plan… this is a fraud by Vodafone and now they are planning to extort this 3K from in the name of changing the plan
kindly help me from the Vodafone extortion racket
PS: i have met few people i the Vodafone customer care center who have similar complaints….
