I have been Vodafone’s customer for 12 years now. Never faced any issue before however this time Vodafone has shown his true color.
My issue is very simple. I was getting emails from Vodafone regarding 1-month Netflix free for my Vodafone number.
Before activating the service I called Vodafone and confirmed it that it is free and later after activating the service I called them again because I got a message from vodafione stating you’ll be charged for this service .
On that call I confirmed with them whether I’ll be charged for the service or not. The advisor clearly said on the call that the service is free for the first month and if I renew it and it will be charged for the next month.
It was confirmed more than 2 times and the advisor was very clear by his words that service is FREE for the first month. I have the call recording with me with the email I received from vodafone.
I called several times and they were not helping me because they are saying you have activated it so you’ll be charged for it we canot refund you even though I was telling them that I have the proof.
Now on 28/06/2019 I sent an email at corporatecare.india@vodafoneidea.com, for which I got the auto acknowledgement from vodafone within 30 minutes. It was mentioned that I will receive a response within 1 day.
Now it has been 10 days, Vodafone has not responded me. I am getting message from vodafone for the bill payment of 799(NETFLIX charges).
I have paid my rest of the bill amount but I will never pay the extra amount which has been charged because of this stupid reason.
Please help me. I will leave the network but I will never pay a penny for this
