Text of Complaint by Swapnil Ananta Karale:

This is regarding my Vodafone Post-paid number 9168002967.

03 Months back, I had given a request to change the number from Postpaid to Prepaid. Accordingly, I communicated to local Vodafone store here in Palghar and submitted all relevant documents to them.Outstanding payment was also paid by me. They given me a new prepaid SIM card and told that you will receive a call from customer care and thereafter the new prepaid number will start in 15 days. Thereafter customer care talked to me and I requested to change from postpaid to prepaid, however even after a month it was not done. The incoming/outgoing calls were disconnected and I keep on receiving postpaid bills even though I did not used the service.

Thereafter I again visited the store, but I got the same reply from Vodafone Executives that this will be done in 15 days.

After 15-20 days, I got a Vodafone bill along with a Demand Notice. After receiving this notice, I talked to Mr.Jagat 8390210000 & Mr.Ravindra 7507602436 and they suggested to visit the store again. I again visited the Vodafone store and from store executive, I came to know that the Customer care had put a wrong remark as ” Customer Retained” in the system even though I clearly requested to change from postpaid to prepaid. I requested Vodafone Store Executive to write an email to customer care. He did that and asked about my alternate number. He instructed me to receive the customer care call on alternate number and speak about change from postpaid to prepaid.

Till today I have not received any call from Vodafone on my alternate number and received bill again as per below mail. I am also attaching demand notice for your reference.

Kindly look into this matter and suggest how we can resolve it. I have not made a single call from my postpaid number and I am not in a position to pay the bill.
