Dear Sir/Madam,
My vodafone postpaid mobile number 9880064435 (now disconnected) which is on my name, is being used by my father from past 13 years or so. International Roaming facility and a International-roaming Pack of Auto-500 which is the costliest pack available was activated on this number without my permission and knowledge.
However I admit that services were used on this number. But had the International-roaming pack was not activated, or even if any other roaming pack (RS. 5000 for 28 days) would have been activated, my bill would have been much lesser. I have been charged Rs 500 each for 15 days which comes to 7500 plus taxes.
Moreover there’s a credit limit on this mobile number which is Rs 4500 beyond which my bill shouldn’t have crossed. However I’m willing to pay RS. 4500 for the services that were used i.e. the max credit limit on my number. Also take into consideration that I didn’t activate or request for activating any facility or pack related to I-Roaming.
Even after repeated calls and Emails the concerned authorities are not doing anything about it. On the contrary, I’m getting threat calls and messages from Vodafone Collections and Legal Team. I’m also being told that a legal notice will be sent
Please look into this issue and try to resolve at the earliest.
