The cost of auto rickshaw in virar have skyrocketed since covid. During covid due to social distancing they only allowed 2 people in rickshaw which is a good thing and also doubled the cost which was fair at that time. After some time when things became normal they started to let 4 people in the rickshaw BUT DID NOT REVERT THE COST HENCE THE CHARGED MORE THAN THEY SHOULD!!!!! After seeing that people are not complaining much about it they now say unreasonable cost like 80 rupee for 1.5 km which we all know is very bad.
I would like if this draws more people’s attention we can get a fair priced rickshaw ride again
TO MAKE IT EVEN FOR BOTH RICKSHAW WALA’S AND US, AUTO SHOULD USE METER FROM NOW ON!!
As we all know that in advanced part of mumbai meter is used which reduces alot of problems hence i we would like that in vasai and virar strict rule should be applied towards the rickshaw to use the meter at all cost !!
