Text of Complaint by Madhusudan:

Amazon online is at the mercy of Delivery executives at local delivery hub. I placed order for about 15 different products on 28th Oct and delivery date for each product was on different dates starting from same day delivery 28th Oct to Nov 6th. The delivery agent who tried to deliver the product called me asking for directions to my residence but he was about 2-3 kms away from my place. I tried to redirect him to the actual address which is also correct in the Order confirmation. He refused to either come to the actual place or reattempt delivery the next from the different hub. He replied stating he will act only as per the map directions and since the address is not the map directed place, he will be cancelling the order. I questioned his attitude and told him strongly that I would be lodging a complaint. He was very cool and replied that he will definitely cancel the order & wont matter if i lodge a complaint.

I narrated this entire episode to the Customer care within 10 minutes and they promised to ensure that the order is not cancelled but will be delivered the following along with action against the delivery executive.
Never knew that these customer care executives are such hopeless characters and all they can do is data entry job i.e. Feed the customers complaint into the system AND it goes down the drain.
The main story starts here..
1) Every day the product arrives at the final delivery station
2) They dont attempt any delivery
3) Status will show as arrived in final delivery station
4) After two days, It will be returned back to the seller and refund processed.
5) I raise complaint, the products will be reordered and again returned back to seller
6) it means the local delivery hub had blacklisted me and takes unilateral decision on my orders.
the funny part is that the global giant called amazon is at the mercy of the delivery hub and dont have an escalation department/process. Even a roadside shop will have beer customer care.
