I am reaching out to you with a matter of urgent concern regarding threats and harassment I have endured from collectors associated with online lending applications.

The situation has escalated to a point where these collectors are now threatening to post my personal pictures and identification documents on social media platforms. Additionally, they have been continuously harassing not only myself but also my contact references, creating an intolerable and distressing situation for all parties involved.

This behavior not only violates my rights as a borrower but also constitutes a severe breach of privacy and ethical conduct. I believe such actions are clear violations of existing regulations, including SEC MC 18 and Circular No. 20-01 issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC), which expressly prohibit harassment and the unauthorized disclosure of personal information during debt collection processes.

I urgently request your immediate intervention to address this alarming situation. It is imperative that decisive action be taken to halt the harassment and threats from these collectors and ensure that they are held accountable for their reprehensible actions.

Furthermore, I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into the practices of these online lending platforms to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future and to safeguard the rights and privacy of borrowers.
