Text of Complaint by PRATHAM GARG:

sir,
When I had lost my vodafone sim card. I visited the nearest VI centre to get another sim card of same number. but the agent told me that it is not possible to get the sim by normal process because the sim card it is very old phone number and it was registered a long time ago. so I asked him that is there any other possibility to get the sim card so he told me that if you will port any other sim card of another company into VI. then you can get your lost no. back. I don’t want my airtel no. to be ported into VI but there was not any other option so I agreed and he gave me my lost no. sim card back and raised the complaint of my airtel no. to be ported into VI postpaid . at home when my old sim of VI was Activated I had canceled the port request from airtel sim. and the request was canceled. After some time VI agents call me to ask about the port request and I clearly told him that i don’t want to port my airtel sim. and I had answered these calls 4-5 times but now after a 40 days agent call me and said your no. will be ported into VI and from today 10:00 pm your airtel services will be closed and VI services will be started I told him that I don’t want to port my sim but he said nothing can be done and the sim will port and there is no option to cancel this. Kindly look into the matter and take a strict action against these types of VI agents.
