This is to bring your notice that hyderabad based travel operator “ orange tours and travels “. I have booked a ticket for my family to travel from madurai to hyderabad on 20th oct 2019 (Sunday). My family members are wife and two daughters (Aged 14 and 5 yrs). They started their journey from madurai on 20th oct 2019 afternoon by 3.30 pm. Ticket was booked thru goibibo and booking gobusand317277aa86 dated 17th oct 2019. Orange travels booking pnr no: 102400634, volvo multi axle sleeper a/c coach. When bus reaches 25 kms before bangalore at 1.40 am, driver stopped the bus and told the passengers to get down from bus and find their own way to reach hyderabad. All the passengers are clueless on what happen to the bus and bus driver. There was an angry and ferocious from all the passengers, driver was explaining that there is a problem on the bus and he cannot drive nor he cannot find an alternate vehicle.
I was in hyderabad and i called from my wife around 1.51 am and she was narrating the incident. Middle of the night, i am also in clueless on what to do at that time…she and kids are in panic and i am in distress stage.
Drivers left the cleaner with the passenger and ran away from that place. Passengers were struggling for some time and slowly started finding their own ways, since they need to go to office next days. I don’t know the pain and struggle taken by other passenger to reach hyderabad. My wife and two daughters were standing on the road with tears on their eyes at midnight and does know to find the way to travel back to hyderabad. No one there to help during that time and they were finding very difficult to stand on the road on midnight which is unsafe. I cannot express more on the pain which they and me took during that particular time. All that because of “ orange travels “, which they running the transport buses with unprofessional ways. They have collected complete money from all the passengers and they didn’t pay the tax to government to operate that particular bus on that date, bangalore government officials made a check on their rc book and permits and found void, which drivers are not able to provide reason to passengers and unable to continue the journey.
Last two days iam trying to raise a complaint thru orange travels customercare multiple times, however they are not giving proper response and they keep avoiding my calls as well. They were trying to prolong the discussion and keep extending the days to avoid to neglect this incident
We need to take a serious action against this bus operators and need to be lesson for everyone and they need to answer/ Compensation for our pain and struggle had on that day.
