Text of Complaint by Manjunath:

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the services provided by Sanjana Tours and Travels during my bus journey from Bengaluru to Basavakalyan on 3rd February 2024. My father and I encountered a series of distressing incidents that not only compromised our comfort but also highlighted the unprofessionalism of the service.

1. Inconvenient Bus Switch:
Within half an hour of the journey, the company abruptly made us switch buses, causing chaos among passengers. This was done to merge travelers from two buses, resulting in many people not getting the seats they had paid for.

2. Overcrowded Luggage Compartment:
Upon boarding the new bus, we discovered that the luggage compartment was inadequately prepared, with barely enough space for even a laptop bag. It was later revealed that the limited space was utilized for the company’s side business, leaving passengers struggling to find room for their belongings.

3. Unprofessional Behavior of Crew:
When seeking assistance on where to place our large luggage, the crew displayed unprofessional and unapologetic behavior. Their response to our concern was to suggest placing the luggage on our seats, disregarding the fact that we needed those seats for sleeping during the 15-hour journey.

4. Lack of Accountability:
Despite repeated inquiries, the crew evaded responsibility and directed us to contact officials. Their dismissive attitude implied that we were traveling for free and had no rights as paying customers.

5. Discomfort and Sleep Deprivation:
Forced to place our luggage on our seats, we endured a 15-hour journey without proper seating, let aloan any opportunity for sleep. This not only violated the terms of service but also subjected us to unnecessary discomfort and exhaustion.

I urge the Consumer Complaints Court to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action against Sanjana Tours and Travels for their negligent and unprofessional conduct, which marred what should have been a straightforward and comfortable journey.
