My name is Sayali Rane,
I had asked to deactivate my Vodafone number 8291341122 registered in my fathers name Mr. Sunil Gopal Rane. I had written a mail to Vodafone on 28th December 2018 stating it very clearly that i want to deactivate my number. i was told that i should make the outstanding bill payment and then my number will be deactivated. My father had visited the Vodafone gallery twice before 2nd January and we were asked to come again as their server was not working. On 2nd January 2019 my father made the payment of outstanding bill in Vodafone gallery in Borivali station west, Mumbai, Maharashtra and had asked to deactivate my number. He was given confirmation that my number will be deactivated and no more procedure is required. As per the policy the monthly cycle ends on 25th of every month. so after making the payment on 2nd January 2019 and getting a confirmation from the gallery that the number will be deactivated, a new bill was generated for the month of February. it was then that i got to know that my number was still active. So we are not liable to pay this bill of February 2019. After contacting the same gallery again the number was deactivated and i am being unfairly charged the bill for the month of February. Even after repeatedly registering complaints no proper action is take.
