Text of Complaint by AADYA ANTYA:

I made a hotel booking via oyo at Hotel Snow Point Inn, Dhanaulti. I got a confirmation message from OYO but when I called the owner for getting directions, he said that he’s not talking any bookings from OYO since there is a payment dispute between the owner and OYO. Despite that I was given a confirmation. When I called the customer care service for resolution, I was told that there is a payment issue and they need to confirm. I was put on hold and the call was disconnected after 10 minutes. I kept calling and every time call was received by a new executive and I was asked to hold till they confirm the status. I asked for a refund and that too was denied saying that they need to confirm with the property owner meanwhile I’m constantly getting messagea urging me to check in to the hotel from the website. After many complaints lodged and went unheard, I had to book another hotel. Had i not called the hotel I would have been left on the road. The keast they could have done is informed me after escalated the issue but i got no response. And still I am waiting for refund. This policy of taking money and giving confirmation incorrectly is unfairly enriching the company and stripping the customer of their hard earned money which needs to be brought to public notice.
