Hi, I had applied for the role of Java developer at TCS and i mentioned the expected salary is 15 Lakhs per annum. Later recruiter got in contact with me and told they can give 9-10 Lakhs maximum. I agreed and proceeded for interview and i cleared it. After one week of interview, received call from HR that they can provide a maximum of 8 Lakhs and no more. With no choice i agreed and today – after two weeks of interview, document verification, HR calls back and say – they can provide only 5.8 Lakhs which is way below standard pay by an IT company. Last month my friend joined the company for a package of 10 Lpa and i found it was the common package. However for me it’s reduced to 5.8 lakhs and they are unable to provide a valid reason for the same. Kindly look into it.
