Text of Complaint by Babu Venkataraman:

I was using Hathway Broadband Services vide customer id 1170548053 till 28.09.2019, however I have paid services till 31.10.2019. since I have cancelled my services wef 28.09.2019,  I have requested Hathway to refund the amount of Rs.942.82. they were so lethargic to refund my money, so I have filed a complaint against them in consumerhelpline.gov.in vide Grievance number 1697186 ON 25.10.2019. after a rally of emails and follow up with Hathway, I have received my money back on 27.11.2019. during these times, Hathway has literally screwed me up and infuriated, mentally tortured me to the core. they were so irresponsive to the grievances, on top of it, they have shared my number with their telecallers who still calls me on a daily basis to recharge my account to get it activated. I have made numerous attempts to get the telecallers blocked, however I am still getting their annoying calls. as per Hathway records, they have already marked my mobile number under DND, but it is an untrue statement, because of the calls I am receiving on a daily basis.

Now i plea this consumer forum to pass necessary orders against Hathway to compensate me Rs.5,00,000/- towards the mental torture they are providing me on a daily basis.
