This is regarding a recharge which I did on 27th October, 2018 for an international plan valid for 10 days for Rs 4025.
I had a call with a Vodafone representative on 25th October, 2018 about the same and I was told I just need to do a recharge and within half an hour plan will be activated, I won’t need to do anything else for the same.
Though when I reached Italy my number wasn’t working, in fact it never worked for the complete 10 days I was in Italy, it was really inconvenient, I had to buy a new sim there worth 50 EUR ( around Rs 4200 ) because of this.
After coming back I called their customer care service about the same and even after many calls the refunded money ( that also after cutting down 18% for internet convenience fee, which again is so wrong ) was refunded in my Vodafone number rather than actual money refund.
I never used any data or services w.r.t this recharge so logically refunding money shouldn’t be a problem here.
I mailed Vodafone about the same but every time they are just replying the same thing and never replying to any question asked by me.
They said that if I had contacted them while the pack was active they could have returned the money but now they can’t, when asked why they have no answer for that.
