I received a message on my mail and text saying rs 8783 has been debited vis Amazon prime. I checked all my accounts if I placed an order, which I hadn’t. I had to call my bank account and get my card blocked. After which I contacted the Amazon customer care, and they told me that from my account on the United States websites, some purchase of annual prime membership has been done using my account. Whereas I don’t live in that country nor do I have an us account. They were offering me a solution rather than an explanation when asked for. I couldn’t believe such a big glitch on their end. Who authorizes them to do so with my account? That means my account and card details are not safe with Amazon?
