Got a message saying that I’m added as GalaxyCard reference for someone and to avoid legal action/FIR to be raised against them. I don’t know the person, I didn’t authorize any such thing.

GalaxyCard only sends SMS to people who are added as a reference by the GalaxyCard user. Please rest assured, you are not a reference yet. This message was to seek your consent if you know them. As stated in the message, you can opt for NO as an option if you do not know the person. If you have any other issues do let us know at support@galaxycard.in.
