Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Janani Pizza Palace Kundapura for delivering a pizza with a molded base and containing a cockroach, which poses a serious health hazard. The details of the incident are as follows:On 28 May 2024, I placed an order for pizza’s from Janani pizza palace through Zomato.com for delivery to my address at Anagalli, Kundapura. The order number is #5862679655. When the pizza was delivered and I opened the box, I was horrified to find that the base of the pizza was moldy, and there was a cockroach present in the pizza. This is not only unacceptable but also a serious breach of food safety standards.I immediately contacted Janai Pizza Palace’s customer service and informed them of the situation. However, they refunded full amount and apologized. I have attached photographs of the contaminated pizza for your reference.This incident has caused me significant distress, and I am deeply concerned about the potential health risks. As a consumer, I believe it is my right to receive food that is safe for consumption, and this experience has severely undermined my trust in Janani Pizza Palace. I kindly request the Consumer Court to take the following actions:
Investigate the matter thoroughly and ensure that Janani Pizza Palace adheres to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Impose appropriate penalties on Janani Pizza Palace to prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.Ensure that Janani Pizza Palace implements stricter quality control measures to safeguard consumer health.
