Hello Team,
I recently redeemed my Levi’s E-Gift Card number [1000 8000 3664 7416] worth Rs. 17,500 and my Reward ID: D0N4MMCI54UF, which I received from Google. I used it to make a purchase worth around Rs. 8,000 in its Shop No G15 & 16, Ground Floor, Ambience Mall, Gurgaon, Haryana. However, as per the invoice, Rs. 9,500 remains as a balance on the card. But when I attempted to make a second purchase, the transaction failed, and as per the bill, Rs. 9,500 still shows as the remaining balance. The same remaining balance of Rs. 9,500 is still visible on my Woohoo.in account, with an expiry date of 21 Dec 2025.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware that the gift card can only be redeemed once, as I missed this clause in the T&C. When I tried to use the remaining balance for another purchase, it didn’t work due to this limitation. In the past, I have redeemed multiple E-Gift Cards such as LifeStyle, Croma and they have T&C that If the order value is less than the amount of the E-Gift Card, the outstanding balance (after deduction of order value) will reflect under the same E -Gift Card and can be used for subsequent transactions. At that time also I was also under the same impression. I could have bought much more (2X) than what I actually bought in my first purchase. Unfortunately, I just utilized it for less than 50% value of that card.
I completely accept my mistake and I sincerely request Woohoo to support me access the remaining Rs. 9,500 either by reactivating the same card or issuing a new one for the leftover amount. Seeing this card with the remaining balance just sitting there is honestly a bit disheartening.
This amount is meaningful to me, and I’d be grateful if there’s any way they could make an exception or assist with a workaround. Because Googly has already paid Rs. 17,500 to buy that gift card for me, no one would lose any money from their side if Levi’s or Woohoo allow me to use my remaining balance. That’s their unfair policy. If someone gets an E-Gift Card of Rs. 2,50,000/- and they just utilized it in their first purchase of Rs. 2,000/-, how would the end-user be able to use their remaining balance? Here, woohoo.in is taking advantage. In my case, Levi’s will never raise a billing of Rs. 9,500/- to Woohoo because of the one-time usage limitation.
Looking forward to your support.
