Text of Complaint by Rajasekhar Veeraboyana:

On 19-05-2023, placed an order for One Plus 10 R mobile under exchange with Oppo Reno 7 5G (ORDER # 407-3098315-2210744). During delivery, I was asked to provide the IMEI number and I have given to the delivery person. He has entered the last 5 digits of it in his mobile app and gave me six digit number and asked to enter in my mobile which I have placed for exchange for verification. But the verification failed.
He has called Amazon to find out the reason for the failure. They have suggested to cancel the order and rebook again. Accordingly, I have cancelled my order. I have once again placed an order and similar thing has happed again with this order. When I have contacted Amazon, customer care, I was again suggested the same to cancel and rebook. I have told them that I have faced the same problem in my earlier order. The line got cut. Again, I have called customer care. Another person came online and suggested to swap the sim card into another slot and try. But no use. Same verification failed.
I called again and I have informed them that there is an issue in amazon software itself as the same issue is being faced by many customers as per the delivery agent words. I was suggested by one of the executive that the item will be delivered before 9 pm with out verification (a mail was even sent on this). But the delivery agent did not give me the item as they cant give without verification. Again, called customer care and I was told to wait for 72 hours. Now customer care is suggesting me to cancel and reorder again.
I have googled and found that many people are facing this issue. One such issue is (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWFg9JsKcko) since 2022. Amazon is not able to resolve this issue since then? How long does Amazon require to resolve this and make its customers trouble free?
I need my item to be delivered without rejecting. Need amazon to take necessary action immediately.
