Sub: Transfer of ownership in corporate account
Respected Sir/ Madam
With reference to the captioned matter, this is to inform you that my father was working with MNC named Elecon Engineering Pvt. Ltd, Anand, Gujarat as Administrative head. He met with a fatal accident and passed away on 22nd March, 2021. In regard to this, I had to transfer the ownership of number to my Mother’s name for which I visisted VI branch Nr. Grid Road, Anand. The officials there first asked me to come in the evening hours with original ID proof along with my mother. When I went there in the evening along with my mother they informed me to come after a day Or two as they had to register alternate number for the process to get completed for which they made us stand outside for more than one hour. I was then given a SIM card a day later and informed that it will get started within 24 hours. Even after regular follow-up for a week we were informed that our request got cancelled as our bill payment was pending and the entire process has to be done again and asked me to visit again with my mother. I asked them whether they had not checked it before to which their reply was that it doesn’t come under their work. The manager, Ms. Nilofar Vhora instead of guiding the official mocked at us and started laughing for his silly mistake as if it’s a great joke that he forgot to check it in the first place. I called out for the manager, Ms. Nilofar Vhora for explanation. She behaved very rudely and told me that it’s not her work to sit at the counter and attend to customers problem. She also informed me that she has great knowledge and holds a position of great respect and that the officer being a trainee is supposed to commit mistake. I asked her for the time that will be needed now for the procedure to which she replied that the process is not manual and the time taken cannot be predicted and I will have to visit as many times as she asks me to. Elecon Engineering Company holds a relationship with Vodafone since many years and expects professional service from them. In times like this when my mother is grief striken due to the sad demise of my father and not in a position to visit branch so many times, I believe the officials therein lacks humanity and also proper knowledge. Their first step should have been to check if payment was due and also had to check whether alternative number was registered or not so that the entire process could be completed in one go. I have visited the branch more than five times now and I am fed up of the pathetic service.
I am highly disappointed with the customer service and also misbehavior by Ms. Nilofar Vhora. I will be sending a mail to Elecon Dept. to port all connections to Airtel and I myself will also do the same once the name get transferred. Kindly resolve the matter or else I will be forced to complain to appellate authority. Hoping for positive response
