I tried booking a flight from Mumbai to Bangalore via google pay at 15:36 on 14 December,2020. The payment is still showing processing after 72+ hours. The support at google pay weren’t helpful at all and the only response I got every time was issue is escalated and will be investigated. I contacted the support team 8 times in the last 70 hours which only wasted my time. This booking was urgent but google pay didn’t respond. I was fine if the booking was cancelled as I could have rebooked. But I was kept hanging without knowing the status of the previous booking. Many times the support team said my account wasn’t accessible due t technical issues and abruptly ended the chat. There’s is no support provided via or or email, the only way to get help is through chat.
I had the most pathetic and unethical experience of my life with google pay.
