The issue that I have experienced was: I booked a ticket for me and my wife on December 10th to travel to to Delhi through Helsinki and that day I got a confirmation letter stating my flight details and that my booking was confirmed. On December the 13th Travelgenio sent out a letter stated that out of reasons that were unclear they charged us an additional 85 euros for buying the ticket, which was sent to my e-mail and was marked as spam. I did not find the letter amongst my spam, how can they proove that they sent it? Why could they not mark their letter as a urgent letter, so that it would not be marked as spam? Are made it more official, not just some sort of deal that the travelagency was sending. Since I did not see the e-mail, and thinking it was confirmed, they cancelled our flight with my Indian wife and now, since I have found out this predicament, in order to fly on the same day, they want to charge me an extra 350 euros for an issue, that would have been THEIR responsibility! They could have reached out to us again with email, confirming that we got the email, or have tried to call us. It is a poor service that they did not reach out to their customers, those who they sent a booking confirmation!
This meant that In order to travel the same day we have to pay an extra 350 euros for something that was not our fault! We already received a e-mail, confirming our flight.
We would have gladly paid 85 euros extra to travel with the flight that we booked. They should have at least made this possible, if they had to make us believe that our ticket was already booked. WHAT AN INSULT!!
