Text of Complaint by Jasjeet Singh:

I received a total bill of Rs 2295/- but my plan is of Rs 999/-,the extra amount was Rs 100/- for usage,Rs 197/- for texes and Rs 999/- for third party content charges that I never asked for. I need Airtel to remove the third party content charges immediately.

  1. Rs 999 is for Amazon Prime Membership which comes with Airtel Thanks Offer. You can remove it but as of this bill got generated you have access to amazon prime for 1 year.

  2. I also received 1000 extra charges without my knowledge. This is very unprofessional. Adding to this lockdown and unemployment are they trying to extract money from they costumer? My no was also barred before the end of the month usually on 30th previously. If we want any extra services for that matter we will do it ourself but not just add without costumers knowledge .

    1. Yes, I also received a bill like this. Very absurd and seems to be cheating. I never asked for Amazon prime. Airtel, Don’t you have courtesy to collect money from me during this lockdown period without any prior information. I will not pay a single pie except my actual bill payment. I am in Rs. 899 plan and my usual bill amount is Rs. 1060.82. I will pay only 1060.82 this month (July)

  3. I also received 1000 extra charges without my knowledge. This was not correct they are trying to extract money from the cosomer? If we want any extra services for that matter we will do it ourselves but not just add without costomer’s knowledge. this is not correct.

  4. airtel has sent me unnecessary bills starting with an amazon prime membership which i dont need and my bill from rs 1670 has rise upto 2800 . i did not wanted to take the prime membership

  5. Even i got this charges of Rs.999 in my bill without my consent and there is no way i see to cancel this subscription now and i didn’t wanted it in the first place…

  6. My prepaid recharge of rupees 2,999 was wrongly done 7022948452 my number is 8095344827 this was the number I had to get recharged now I’m not able to get any help from AIRTEL please let me know how can you help me out
