I am a student and i just registered for this company because i wanted to earn a little money to help my parents during lockdown and only after accepting the confirmation call i found out it was fraud. I contacted them to cancel the contract and they messaged me back and are asking for 6700rs as a cancellation fee. I’m scared that they will threaten to serve me with a legal notice since there is an agreement even though it doesn’t have my signature on it. Please help me resolve this issue

Just ignore there messages they want do any anything. Right now i am also in same situation what i am doing is just ignoring there messages.
If you dont have a sign on it..then u are not legally bounded to pay him..its all ur decision whether to join a company or not..u applied but now u dont want..thats not the company problem…u rejected the contract..and also u dont have a sign on it..then y u r afraid..call them and say clearly that do whatever u want to do i will not join ur fraud company..
