Greetings!
I am a freelancer, I recently worked for The company named “the resume search” which is a fraud company. Link of the portal : https://theresumesearch.com/client
I have undertaken a data entry job where I would enter the data from the resumes in a portal. 600 resumes in just 7 days. If I fail to work, I have to pay 6490 rupees in total even after working so hard and investing all my time. Each extra day after deadline I have to pay rs.1000 extra or close portal by paying rs.6490
By taking my Id proof they are tretening me by saying that they will go to court of law. I have already paid 5000 rs and they’re still saying my work does not get even a single penny. I am in a Hopeless situation after deceived by them.
I would like to seek the help of consumer court
