Talkcharge is an Online website assuring Cashbacks and other bonanzas. The Company solicits Deposits for Rs.4999 a piece with high returns deposited into Individual Wallet of the customer. The balances are not withdrawable except by means of purchasing Gift Cards, Phone recharges etc. I have made three such Deposits for Rs.4999 each in the year 2021 and 2022 trusting the website. As on date (11-7-22), my balance has crossed Rs. 17,000. In the last one week, I made several attempts to buy Gift Cards from Croma, Big Basket and Flipkart. Today, I tried to make a Recharge on Airtel for Rs. 1799. The order has failed. HOWEVER, the amount was recovered, even though the recharge failed. I am not sure about refund of the amount. When I called the concerned Telephone Number (8527927277) the response was that the connection is not working. I am attaching a screenshot. Earlier I tried to purchase Gift Cards but every time the transaction was not going through. The Company is giving false and lame excuses all the time. About one or two small transactions have been done successfully. I made several attempts to get response from the Company but the replies were evasive.
