I was contacted on 23 June 2023 by an anonymous person called Zanele to offer me a part time job doing subscriptions on You Tube and getting paid for them. I was offered R30 for the first subscription plus a bonus of R40 for joining. It took all of 10seconds to click on the link and subscribe to the You Tube channel. I was paid the R70 that same day and I thought wow this is such an easy way to make money and seeing i lost my job i needed the extra income. I was asked to send my details through to what they call the Receptionist in my case Ms Zuri to register for more tasks and to be added to the telegram group for more tasks which start at 9:20am every day.The next day i started i was added to a telegram group and the tasks were coming in fast and the everytimeyou subscribe you have to send a screenshot of your subscription to both the receptionist and the group you are on. As you subscribe your salary is added by the receptionist and it starts of small with R10 per subscription and as you continue you are upgraded to higher amounts. Currently i am sitting on R500 per subscription , the problem is it goes well in the beginning and you get paid every day until you start doing what is called a merchant task where you have to pay an amount starting at R500 to get a return of 20% and as you pay more your percentage increases up to a max of 60%. This all looks good in the begining and they pay you for the less expensive tasks. Then they upgrade you to a VIP member and your subscription rate goes up, as you do more merchant tasks which you now have not been paid for. Then it happens that a member on your group makes a mistake on one of the tasks (this member is in on the whole thing) now you have to do a repair task which costs more money but dont worry the commission is great and you will get all your money back, which you never do. So you complete your tasks and they tell you you will get paid within two hours which also never happens. The next thing you have to pay tax on the money that you have earned because it is law in South Africa that you need to pay tax on your earnings right. At this point your are desperate to get paid because you have layed out alot of money and cant wait to receive your pay, so you pay the tax and you are told the tax money is fully refundable and you will get it all back. You think well i dont really have this money but i need to get my money back and cannot afford to lose it so let me pay the tax and then i am done. Unfortunately it does not end there because now there is a delayed task you need to do because most people cannot pay the money immediately and have to either take a loan or find it somewhere to get out of this mess. Guess what more money is needed for the delayed task and if you do not pay it you will not get paid and it is the last task then you will be paid within an hour, so they say. At this point in time you have spent an enormous amount of money to try get paid. After you have completed all of your tasks and it is now finally pay day, you are so stressed and dont sleep for many nights worrying about if you will ever get paid and think today is the day finally. On that day the receptionist asks you have you been paid yet, you say no and she says let me follow up with the merchant. You then get told you must please wait because the merchant is busy with another task and will pay you when he is done with the task so you wait. After an hour or so you are told the merchant says there is tax you need to pay then all your money will be paid to the same day and all your problems will be over. In my case the whole episode started on 23 June 2023 and today is 19 July 2023 and still no payment because i have to pay more tax. People PLEASE BE AWARE THIS IS A BIG SCAM!!! I have all cahts from Telegram downloaded with proof of payments, promises made etc. I am hoping that something will happen to these scammers and they get caught to rot in jail for all their days left on this earth. I know that there is a very slim chance of me ever recovering any of my money but do hope that justice will be done.
