The following complaint is regarding the TCL television that I got during the thanksgiving period of the year 2022. I noticed that the TV has some issues like video flickering, Audio-video sync issues, Google assistant hands free control, connecting with Apple TV etc. I reached out to TCL customer support and they suggested me two option 1) provide the video/images regarding the above mentioned issues and they will either repair or replace(whole process is 14 business days if it is repairable and for replacement, they didn’t mention the timeframe) 2) Go back to the store where I bought and exchange as the return period is till Jan 15th, 2023). So, I have chosen the easy path and got the replacement from BestBuy. Now, after exchanging with the similar new TV, once I came home, I opened the box and noticed that the one BestBuy sold me was an opened box as the accessories are already used and not in the original packaging. I have setup the TV to check if this TV has the similar issues and noticed couple of similar issues like Google assistant hands free control, connecting with Apple TV etc. I took a video while opening the box and went back to BestBuy to explain what exactly happened. They apologized and offered me an exchange of same TV. I got the 3rd TV from BestBuy and noticed that this TV also has similar issues like an Google assistant hands free control, old software version(which shows up to date but pretty old compared to the earlier TV software version). So, this time I decided to reach back to TCL customer support and filed a complaint on January 16th 2023 but till now they haven’t resolved the issue and I am still following up from my side.
