Sir,
I tried to book a Tatkal Ticket on 18/10/2018. Money had been deducted from my account and ticket was not booked. I have waited nearly 20 days for refund. But still I didnt get my money refunded but in IRCTC website it is showing ” REFUND STATUS: SUCCESSFUL, sent on 17/10/2018″. So, I had contacted my bank and raised a complaint on this. My Bank verified this and told me that they didnt received any amount from IRCTC dated on 17/10/2018. They told me that money hadnt released from IRCTC and contact them. I have been sending mails ti care@irctc.co.in regarding this and they are saying that refund is successful.
“The big blinder here is my transaction date is 18/10/2018, in IRCTC its is showing 16/10/2018, refund initiated on 17/10/2018. This means IRCTC initiated my refund 17/10/18 knowing that I will book a Tatkal Ticket on 18/10/2018 and it will be failed and so they are sending my money back one day before booking of ticket.”
My questions to IRCTC:
- How can I book Tatkal ticket on 16/10/2018 (date is as per IRCTC) when the train with number 20812 is not arraiving at SEC station boading on 17/10/2018 ? (the train starts
- The bording time that is mentioned on my ticket is 17/10/2018 at 00.00 hrs at SEC station. What is the actual time of bording at SEC station for the above mention train?
- How refund is initiated one day before booking of ticket?
These are the reasons of server error of IRCTC which is cause of not refunding of my amount.
Im attaching my transaction mail and IRCTC status to this. Please solve my complaint.
