My Tata Sky set top box id is 1199682780 . My set top box was deactivated for a month and after recharging it showed a red light and the tv showed no signal. Talking to the customer care executives and technicians they said i will have to change my set top box and upgrade it either for a hd one for Rs 999 or get a reserviced box for 350. The technician said this without visiting and checking anything. This seems like a marketing strategy to close down people’s set top boxes and then asking them to upgrade . I need it resolved
