This complaint is regarding the jeeves company which is not only a fraud company but its still surviving in our country through flipkart complete protection insurance.

My issue is enlisted as under:-

1. I bought Led TV in the month of Oct 19 and along with it, i bought the 3 year complete insurance cover for the TV from jeeves which is provided through flipkart with the anticipation that it will cover the loss in case any damage or repair to the TV in three years.
2. In May 2021, my screen got damaged due to natural calamities, but its other components such as motherboard, speakers and all other stuffs were in working condition.
3. On May 8th, i approached Jeeves with issues, they registered complaint, and at the same time i also approached the electrician for the issue, and i got to know that only panel has to repaired/replaced.
4. Next day i.e. 8th May 2021, technician called me over the phone and asked for the images of TV (they didn’t even physically inspect the condition of TV). when images were shared by me, there were no reply from them for almost 4 to 5 days whereas i used to call the technician daily but got no response.
5. After four days, when i approached jeeves company through toll free no, they didnt entertain my issues and said that i will get a call from the company.
6. After two days, i got a call and they said that my claim has been approved and asked me to share my account details for the refund. when i asked about refund amount, they said 9,499/- which was not even 35% of the cost of TV and they also said that i have to return the TV with all accessories, only then claim will be processed…!!!!!(WTF) when my tv can be repaired and it has a functional components which is worth the refund amount by them (9,499/-), then what kind of insurance is this?????? its more like selling the scrap items/ remaining serviceable items to at this cost.
7. After that when i denied for the offer of refund, they said they will get back to me. Since then they didnt call back, and doing conversation through the mail and they are forcing me to accept the refund offer.
8. Even after denying the refund offer, they keep sending the same mail again and again and keep irritating.
9. there is more than 20 conversation through mail till now, in which every time i ask for repair of the item as same is given in their page that screen replacement upto Rs 16,000/- and panel cover upto rs 16,000/- is covered under the insurance, they always reply with the pre-set message that repair / replacement will not be provided.
10. Finally i lodged a complaint with the Flipkart and they said that they will resolve the issue in one week. but i dont have faith in flipkart also.
11. And now after almost ten days of unnecessary conversation with Jeeves and Flipkart, i decided to lodge a complaint with consumer court and IRDA.
