Respected Sir,
I m using Tata Sky DTH service since 2014 My TATA SKY ID NO IS 1092554763 and facing Following problem:-
(1) Whenever service interruptions is their i used to launch complaint on Tata Sky helpline number 1860 208 6633 from Mumbai and the The person on line is every time out of Mumbai some time he is from Hydradabad, Pune Assam ,Gujarat and Himachal pradesh not from Mumbai and explaining the reason to delay in service is due to Heavy rain and bad atmosphere of Mumbai who is not knowing the whether condition of Mumbai.it is not possible to discussed the same matter with same person who has earlier attended the complaint,Every time have to explaine the same to new person on line.Why not Helpline of Mumbai is attending the customer of Mumbai so that falses reason for delay will not be repeated?
(2) MAIN COMPLAINT:- Today morning watching NEWS suddenly interrupted the service,Showing the GREEN light on SET TOP BOX even not responding the Remote also.I brought the Neighbor’s TATA SKY SET TOP BOX and checked found it was working perfectly indicates that MINE SET TOP BOX OF TATA SKY is Faulty.Again i contacted to TATA CUSTOMER HELPLINE NUMBER Again another person from Gujarat Shri IRFAN was on line not accepting the fault i narrated.I requested to divert the call to TEAM Leader so that i can explain my problem.After 27 to 30 minutes lapse of time he connect me to Mr Surgeetneggi whose ID is Surgeetneggi73499 ( It painful for customer to hold the line for 27 to 30 minutes and TATA is claiming that they are giving prompt service is beyond to understand).
(3) After hard chasing and dealing Different level of different people of different state TATA SKY HELPLINE service ,I request them to sort out my SET TOP BOX problem.After some time getting call from Service engineer that he on the way to attend the Fault.On reaching my resident SE has stated that it is fault of TATA SKY SET TOP BOX & Informed to his Boss.Here it worth to pointed out that due to Some fault in TATA SET TOP BOX my Service is Interrupted.Service Engineer decided to replaced the faulty SET TOP BOX.He did it TOOK the OLD one in his custody and asked me that RS350.00 is to pay for replacement and after some time he asked for Service charge RS 150.00.
(4) It is understood that due to TATA faulty SET TOP BOX i m the sufferer and no fault on my Part i.e. it not malfunction due damage by me and service engineer has also accepted the same, even though i have to pay Service engineer visiting charge.Accepting that the TATA SET TOP BOX is faulty is it possible to replace without visiting the SE?TATA has send the SE without informing to me.In this situation My humble submission is that Why shoult i Pay Service Engineer visit charge?
(5) It very much painful for customer that without taking their concern the Rs 550.00(Rs350.00+150.00) deducted from my Subscription when the matter i have objected to TATA SKY HIGHER AUTHORITY.
It is my HUMBLE Request for repayment of RS 150.00 which not justified at all.Thought it is not Big amount but i feel that i cheated smartly.
