Text of Complaint by SURESH MOGADALA:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I (SURESH MOGADALA) have been using TATA sky DTH since 2007( ID: 1097889123). In recent days I have been facing problem on not receiving signals and frequently its interrupted in every 1hr. In the month of Dec 2019, I have called TATA sky customer regarding this issue and he told that you switch off once and wait for 10 sec and switch on, you will receive the signal. I followed the same earlier also and informed the same to the customer service. After some days the frequency of interruption was in every 5 min. I again called the customer service on 4-01-2020, he has registered my complaint and sent the technician on 5-01-2020.

The technician visited on 5-01-2020 and checked the receiver/ antenna area and informed the part in the receiver damaged and it should be changed and chargeable Rs 200. I agreed the same and he has changed the part. After change also its not receiving the signal, again he has checked the setoff box signal strength with an equipment that he was carried with him and it was found ok. He tried again by rejoint the cable and found the signal strength is ok it’s working. He informed the charges payable is Rs 335 and will be deducted from my account.

He vacated my house around 11 AM. After 5 min when he left my home, I found the same problem and it’s not receiving the signals. I called him again and he told that you have to bring the setoff box to my office, and I will check their itself. I denied his words and told him that you have charged Rs 150 for service providing and you please come and take the box, he was accepted and informed that I will come by 3 PM.  He came with 1 new set off box and 1 used set off box and offered me that your set off box was damaged and you have to take new one with cost of Rs 1700 or used one with cost of Rs 500. I argued with him that earlier you only checked the box and its working. Finally, he has taken my set off box to his office and informed after 30 min that it was not working, and you have to change your box. I denied and asked him to return my box. He has not returned my box after my daily complaints to the customer care too.

I again called on 18-01-2020 to customer service and informed the same. He has sent the technician on 20-01-2020 and returned my setoff box.

Finally, I haven’t received the proper service and they have deducted the charges. Due to this I was mentally tortured and missed the daily entertainment. After frequent complaints also they are least bothered on customer service/ customer satisfaction and their services not delivered consistently to their standards.
