We have Tata Sky HD installed in our house. It is running quite smoothly with ups/downs. Following TRAI order, we went to Tata Sky website on 25th June, 2020 and choose 15 channels, the prices came out to be Rs. 127.
However, some service charge of Rs. 180 was added and finally our monthly charge for Tata sky was Rs. 307/month. We transferred Rs. 3700 and the next recharge data came as 25th July, 2021.
After a few days, we wanted to use web services, which used to appear in “Active” (if one presses Active button, Active services on one column and web services on other column used to appear).
However, when we checked, we did not find the “web services” column in Active. We called Tata Sky customer care and the customer care personal told me that a technician from local area would come to correct it.
So, one Tata Sky technician came to our house and checked the TV set. He said later that Tata Sky had taken away “web services” almost a month ago and probably the customer care people were not aware of it.
He said, they will put back may be after a month or so and we have to wait for it. He left. Immediately, the next recharge date appeared as “14th July, 2021” (they took Rs. 150 for the service charge of the technician).
Then today, we found that the recharge date has been placed as 5th July, 2020, and everywhere on screen this message appears in red as only 8 days are remaining for recharge of the Tata Sky account.
This is the level of service of Tata Sky.
