Respected Sir,
Iam a subscriber of tatasky since 2012 bearing Id No.1099338756

On 15th january 2019 I got a call from tata sky executive around 11am to recharge a long duration pack with an offer that my present pack is costing around 4000rs for one year and if you recharge today you will be charged around only 2100Rs. i.e 175Rs per month
I told him that that new TRAI are being made so is there any problem if I recharge now.He told we didnt receive any orders till now but if you recharge today there will no problem for one year as it will be locked for one year.I asked him twice the same thing he told there will no problem.
I asked him to call at 4pm.He called me at 4pm i asked the same question again he told me there will be no problem and i recharged with 2100Rs on Jan15 2019.

I called again on 25th or 26th of january to complain that wrong package ultra pack have been activated and it is charging about around 500Rs per month and also the due date is showing july 2019 which should be january 2020.They have resolved the problem and restored my previous pack cricket dhamaal on 29th january and the next due date on my tv screen shown as 28 jan 2020.

On 28th match 2019 I got a message form tatasky that as per new TRAI rules you will be automatically migrated to best pack if you don’t choose a channels/pack.

As per clause 17 of the Telecommunication (Broadcasting and cable) Services Standards of Quality of Service and Consumer Protection .Regulations, 2017, “In case, the broadcasting services related to television have been availed by a subscriber with a lock-in period or the charges for subscription of broadcasting services related to television are paid in advance for a specific period by a subscriber in pursuance of any scheme offered by the distributor of television channels, the distributor shall continue to provide such services for such period to the subscriber without any increase in the price of subscription and without altering the other terms of subscription to the disadvantage of the subscriber.
As per rules of TRAI, DTH operators should not alter the LDP of customers without their wish as their amount as per the offers given by the DTH operator was already locked for one year.

My concern is that as I have recharged the amount before TRAI rules and which was confirmed by their executive that there will be no problem if i recharge and my next recharge date will be january 28th 2020.
Now i dont want to select any channels and i want my present pack should be continued till january 28th 2020.
Iam attaching the recharge details and the due date it was showing on the tatasky portal.

But they are not listening and forcing us to change the packs.
I request you to kindly look into this matter and save our hard earned money.

Thanks and regards
